Admission requirements:
1. Obtaining a high school diploma - or its equivalent - from inside or outside the Kingdom in accredited schools in the country of study
2. Obtaining the result of the general aptitude test (Qiyas) appropriate to the track or type of secondary school for male and female students, and for the achievement test for all female students in all majors and male students in scientific majors.
3. The year of high school graduation must be 1440 AH or later.
4. The male or female student must pass any test or personal interview set by the relevant college, including the measurement center tests.
5. Anyone who works in any government agency must obtain the approval of his employer.
6. The student must not be registered at the university or elsewhere
7. The applicant’s age must not exceed 25 years
Acceptance mechanism:
- Admission to (the first and second semesters) is done competitively during one period only.
Applicants are sorted according to the following admission criteria:
The first criterion: (balanced proportions)
High school 30% + general aptitude test 30% + achievement test 40%
It is a condition of acceptance for:
- All female students applying to join the university.
- Students applying to health and scientific specializations.
Second criterion: (equivalent ratio)
High school 50% + aptitude test 50%
Students applying to theoretical majors
Submission guidelines:
1. Application for admission (male and female) for the academic year 1446 AH is done through the admission website at the following address: qu.edu.sa. The website will be available according to the announced schedule, noting that applications will not be allowed after this period.
2. When applying through the admission portal, it is necessary to enter an active mobile number for the student, as the student will receive an activation message that he must enter to complete the university application process.
3. The applicant must fill out the admission application information with the correct information and can follow up through the website and enter through the civil registry and the password that was set during the application, noting that the student bears all responsibility and legal consequences for not reviewing the website constantly and learning about the status of the application.
4. The announcement of the results is a nomination for the male and female students and requires approval and confirmation, as a nomination form will be opened for the student with a specific time frame.
5. Students should only upload a 4*6 color photo of the face with a white background.
6- The male/female student chooses the colleges he/she wishes to join and arranges them according to priority. He/she records the first desire, then the second, then the third according to the priority in his or her desire to specialize. The differentiation will be made according to the desire of the entered student/female and his/her weighted or equivalent percentage.
7- The student must arrange the majors he wishes to enroll in carefully and carefully, and the student bears responsibility for the desires entered in their order, as modification will not be available after the application portal closes.
8- The amendment will be available to the student throughout the application period. The student can amend his entered wishes until the time the portal closes.
9- Male and female students must accept the nomination form. If acceptance is not made within the specified period, the student will lose his opportunity to be accepted into all university specializations for this year.
10 - Admission to the diploma for the specializations offered according to the criteria:
For students, specializations that require a balanced percentage:
Medical sterilization, dental assistant, patient care technician - (headquarters), laboratory preparers, solar energy technology, industrial safety and security.
The rest of the specializations require an equivalent percentage.
Female students, all colleges require a balanced percentage.
Important notes for admission
1/ Electronic application through the university’s website only, and the priority of application has no effect on the priority of admission to the university.
2/ Admission to health, engineering, and computer majors requires completing the student’s health competency form.
3/ Admission comparison is made based on the order of the student’s entered desires and the weighted or equivalent percentage. The highest and lowest percentages are accepted until the available seats are filled, noting that the priority of application has no role in the comparison.
4/ Everything related to admission is subject to the decisions and regulations issued by the University Council.
5/ The compound ratio is calculated according to the following:
* Weighted percentage: 30% high school grade + 30% general aptitude test + 40% achievement test
* Equivalent percentage: 50% high school exam + 50% aptitude test
6/ The specializations offered for admission are subject to updating.
