1.    To prepare and graduate specialized professionals in clinical optometry capable of efficiently meeting primary eye care needs at regional and national levels.
2.    To instill the latest knowledge and skills in clinical optometry in students, preparing them to become future scholars and researchers in optometry and vision sciences.
3.    To develop students' skills in eye care and provide opportunities to enhance their leadership abilities in their profession within the community.
4.    To establish advanced programs in postgraduate studies in specialized areas of optometry and vision sciences.
