Industrial Engineering Department:

Based on Qassim University's goals and its responsibilities toward society in providing it with professional cadres that meet its needs, the Department of Industrial Engineering was established at the College of Engineering, in accordance with the new restructuring of the university approved by the University Affairs Council in the year 1445 AH – 2024 AD. The department contributes fundamentally to the development and growth of the nation, as the industrial engineer plays a vital role in all government and private production sectors. This is reflected in development and economic plans, given the expertise and skills this specialization provides in analyzing, designing, and operating industrial and service production systems that achieve high production rates, high productivity efficiency, and high quality at reasonable cost, using the best modern, integrated scientific, engineering, and computational methods and techniques.

To be a leading center of excellence in Industrial Engineering education, research, and innovation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, empowering graduates to drive sustainable industrial development and contribute to the Saudi Vision 2030.

Mission:

The Industrial Engineering program strives to graduate distinguished industrial engineers and to conduct research and community service in an inspiring, dynamic, and well-governed environment, with the aim of enhancing self-resources, adopting modern technologies, and promoting sustainable industrial development.
