The Department of Physics at the College of Science, Qassim University, is a dynamic academic unit that plays a vital role in delivering high-quality educational and research programs. The department is committed to preparing qualified graduates who meet the needs of the labor market and keep pace with scientific and technological advancements in the field of physics.It established in 1418 AH while the first class of undergraduate students graduated in the 1422/1423 AH academic year.

The department offers Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Physics, with a comprehensive curriculum covering various specializations. The department is proud to have a distinguished faculty with extensive academic and research experience, who are actively engaged in fostering student learning, guiding scientific research, and encouraging innovation. Students are also encouraged to participate in scientific activities to broaden their knowledge and skills. Our undergraduate program proudly holds international accreditation from the German agency ASIIN (2013), and national program accreditation from the Education and Training Evaluation Commission (NCAAA), awarded in 2022—affirming our commitment to academic quality and excellence.
