Program mission

 

Qualifying distinguished postgraduate students in biology to meet national needs, providing them with the necessary skills and knowledge to address health and environmental issues, and to find practical solutions to related issues, in a way that serves society and improves the region's economic conditions. Our mission is to create an environment that encourages scientific research and publication in specialized journals while also increasing the employment rate for our graduates.

 

Program Goals

 

  1. Preparing scientific cadres and competencies necessary for the research and educational process.

  2. Meeting the needs of the college, corresponding colleges, and dedicated research centers in multiple fields covering biology specializations.

  3. Contributing to promoting development programs in the Qassim region

  4. Improving scientific research and enhancing the efficacy of university education.

  5. Linking the biology department with different sectors in development and pathological problem solutions through technical methods.

  6. Establishing distinguished research schools with national cadres in biology.

  7. Enhancing students' research skills to solve problems and make informed decisions effectively.

  8. Providing the opportunity for students with university degrees to obtain a master’s degree and prepare them to complete their studies and obtain a doctorate in biological sciences.

  9. Contribute to the community by engaging in scientific research.

  3. Upon successful completion of the program, students will be able to systematically apply and analyze specialized theories, principles, and concepts in advanced contexts in biological sciences
