Statistics

The Department of Statistics and Operations Research is one of the academic departments within the College of Sciences at Qassim University. The Statistics program was established in the academic year 1431 AH and has since contributed to preparing distinguished national professionals in the field of statistics. The first cohort of graduates completed the program on 1-8-1434 AH.

The department currently offers a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, aiming to provide students with both theoretical and practical foundations in various statistical fields. It also offers a Minor program in Data Analysis, which was approved on 12-09-1445 AH, with the goal of equipping students with the knowledge and skills necessary in data analysis and applied statistics.

The department is committed to preparing highly qualified scientific professionals who are capable of meeting labor market demands and actively contributing to scientific research and community service.
