Mechanical engineers play a pivotal role in nearly every industry, driving innovation and technological progress. The Mechanical Engineering ME Department at Qassim University is committed to excellence in education, research, and community service, aligning with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 goals for sustainable development and industrial advancement.
The department offers both Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Mechanical Engineering:
• The Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering program is fully accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) and the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation (NCAAA)
• The Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering program has been submitted for accreditation and is currently under review.
The ME program equips students with the skills to address real-world challenges through design, feasibility studies, cost analysis, installation, operation, and maintenance of mechanical systems. The department emphasizes hands-on learning, cutting-edge research, and collaboration with industry partners to ensure that graduates are well-prepared to meet the dynamic demands of the job market.
