Chemistry

The Department of Chemistry is one of the leading academic departments in the College of Science. It offers comprehensive instruction across various branches of chemistry, including organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, analytical chemistry, and physical chemistry. The department also offers a Master of Science in Chemistry program, designed to prepare highly qualified researchers who contribute to scientific advancement and innovation.

The department is equipped with a central research laboratory that houses advanced instruments such as Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR), Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS), High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), X-ray Diffraction (XRD), and Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP), supporting both research activities and hands-on training.

Additionally, the department conducts high-quality research in diverse areas aligned with national development priorities and actively promotes collaboration with academic and industrial sectors.
