The Research Chairs Secretariat arose with the establishment and establishment of a number of research chairs at the university during the academic year 1430/1431 AH as a unit in the Deanship of Scientific Research. At the beginning of the academic year 1439/1440 AH, it became independent as the Research Chairs Secretariat linked to the University Vice Deanship for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research.
