Yesterday, Monday, in his office in the Emirate of the region, His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Emir of the Qassim Region, witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the University’s Medical City and the Qassim Health Cluster, in order to enhance aspects of cooperation in the field of medical services, in the presence of His Excellency the President of the University, Professor Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Hamad Al-Daoud, and the CEO of the Qassim Health Council, Dr. Musa bin Muhammad Al-Harbi.
This memorandum, which was signed on behalf of the university by Dr. Khaled bin Fahd Al-Husays, Executive Director of the University’s Medical City, and on behalf of the Qassim Health Cluster, the CEO of the cluster, aims to raise the level of partnership and joint coordination between the two sides, which includes providing a range of medical services in 6 areas, namely “patient referral, Manpower, intensive and critical care rooms, laboratories, radiology and medical imaging, medicines, by taking advantage of the capabilities and resources available to both parties to provide health services of distinguished quality and high efficiency that meet the desired ambitions.
His Highness the Emir of the Qassim region stressed the importance of signing this memorandum, which comes as confirmation of the continuation of fruitful mutual cooperation between government agencies in the region, activating medical cooperation to serve the patient in the Qassim region, and supporting the areas targeted by the agreement in a way that achieves the public interest and improves outcomes, in light of continuous follow-up and constant care from His Highness agreed to develop areas of mutual cooperation between various sectors, and to benefit from the opportunities and expertise that exist in the region.
The two sides appreciated the interest and support of His Highness the Emir of the region for projects to develop health services in the region, and to raise the level of efficiency and performance within the health transformation program and the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 to improve life and build an ambitious and prosperous nation that enjoys well-being through a comprehensive and sustainable development process.
