During the forum, the Digital Government Authority announced the results of measuring the Digital Transformation Index 2023, for more than 200 government agencies from various sectors, which is concerned with evaluating and diagnosing the situation of the agencies and following up on the development of their journey in digital transformation through several main indicators that included standards derived from royal orders, Cabinet decisions and circulars. Which included 52 standards, and digital transformation standards, which included 73 standards, by which the extent of government agencies’ commitment to applying these standards and the levels of commitment to their implementation are measured, and the results of measuring these indicators were sorted into 5 stages: (creativity, integration, improvement, availability, construction). The results were comprehensive. Al-Qassim is in the highest stage “Creativity” and among the highest government agencies, and came in first place in the education and training sector with a measurement result of (90.59%).

The university also obtained the National Enterprise Architecture (NORA) accreditation certificate for distinguished government agencies from the Digital Government Authority, which was received by His Excellency the President of the University during the forum, from His Excellency the Governor of the Authority, in recognition of the university’s excellence in applying institutional architecture standards that contribute to accelerating the process of digital transformation.

The university also ranked among the best government agencies with the highest performance in the efficiency of websites and digital content in 2023, and was honored by His Excellency Engineer Ahmed bin Muhammad Al-Soyan, Governor of the Digital Government Authority, during the forum, which was received by His Excellency the Dean of the Deanship of Information Technology, Dr. Saleh Al-Bahili, in the city of Riyadh.

His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Emir of the Qassim region, sponsored the closing ceremony of the “People’s Heritage Festival,” organized by the university, with the participation of international students at the university who represent more than 90 nationalities, in the presence of His Excellency Professor Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Hamad Al-Daoud, President of the University. And the Undersecretary of the Emirate of the Qassim Region, Dr. Abdullah Al-Saqr, His Excellency the representatives and members of the University Council, and the directors of government agencies, at the Qassim International Convention and Exhibition Center in Buraidah.

For his part, His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Qassim Region, said: I congratulate the distinguished Qassim University, the President, Vice Deans, Deans, and University Council, on the idea of this international festival, its great success, and achieving the Kingdom’s goals to be an incubator for all global civilizations and cultures.

His Highness added: This festival and the gathering of more than 90 nationalities of scholarship students at Qassim University sends a message to the world that our faith and our sacred country embraces all peoples without exception and dedicates coexistence and brotherhood with all the peoples of the world.

His Highness the Emir of the Qassim region toured the participating corners, which include a pavilion for the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid, the Saudi pavilion, the Qassim University pavilion, the corner of the Ministry of Education represented by the General Administration for Scholarships for Non-Saudi Students, and the exhibition of educational tools in Saudi Arabia from the first to the third Saudi state. In addition to the participation of many international students from various countries, they present many events, exhibitions, competitions, and performances, which present the most prominent cultural features and heritage legacies of the countries, such as clothes, antiques, popular foods, and their own handmade and industrial textiles, in addition to pictures, information, and historical and natural landmarks for each country. As well as folklore shows, handicrafts, and other rarities specific to each country.

His Highness witnessed the closing ceremony of the festival, which included two introductory films about the university’s efforts for international students, and their feelings on the occasion of this festival. He also listened to the speech of the international students, during which they expressed their thanks and appreciation for the Kingdom that allowed them to study and provided support and attention to international students to spread science and knowledge.

In addition, the general supervisor of the festival, Dean of the Deanship of Student Affairs, Dr. Muhammad bin Saleh Al-Ajlan, confirmed that the university worked to attract a number of international students and provided them with a stimulating educational, cultural and social environment in a way that strengthens their belonging to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, indicating that the festival reflects one of the dimensions of the university’s vision. It is an effective national and global partnership, and it also reflects its mission to enhance national development and the values of belonging and justice, represented by focusing on peaceful coexistence among peoples.

Al-Ajlan explained that the festival also reflects the extent of openness to diversity and coexistence in the Kingdom, and enhances the university’s educational role, which is to hone students’ skills and develop their abilities. This festival presented many historical and review programs of the cultural achievements of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

His Highness, the Emir of the Qassim Region, honored distinguished international students at the undergraduate and graduate levels, in addition to distinguished students in student activities.

  His Highness also inaugurated the second edition of the Award of His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Emir of the Qassim Region, for memorizing the Holy Quran at Qassim University.

The university holds this festival with the aim of enriching cultural and civilizational diversity and learning closely about the customs and heritage of peoples through its international students, whose number exceeds more than 5,000 international students, as it comes within a series of community programs and events that the university holds annually.

This year, the festival witnessed the participation of 1,200 participants, more than 900 international students, and the number of visitors exceeded 42,000 visitors to the festival, which lasted for six days.

Yesterday, Monday, in his office in the Emirate of the region, His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Emir of the Qassim Region, witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the University’s Medical City and the Qassim Health Cluster, in order to enhance aspects of cooperation in the field of medical services, in the presence of His Excellency the President of the University, Professor Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Hamad Al-Daoud, and the CEO of the Qassim Health Council, Dr. Musa bin Muhammad Al-Harbi.

This memorandum, which was signed on behalf of the university by Dr. Khaled bin Fahd Al-Husays, Executive Director of the University’s Medical City, and on behalf of the Qassim Health Cluster, the CEO of the cluster, aims to raise the level of partnership and joint coordination between the two sides, which includes providing a range of medical services in 6 areas, namely “patient referral, Manpower, intensive and critical care rooms, laboratories, radiology and medical imaging, medicines, by taking advantage of the capabilities and resources available to both parties to provide health services of distinguished quality and high efficiency that meet the desired ambitions.

His Highness the Emir of the Qassim region stressed the importance of signing this memorandum, which comes as confirmation of the continuation of fruitful mutual cooperation between government agencies in the region, activating medical cooperation to serve the patient in the Qassim region, and supporting the areas targeted by the agreement in a way that achieves the public interest and improves outcomes, in light of continuous follow-up and constant care from His Highness agreed to develop areas of mutual cooperation between various sectors, and to benefit from the opportunities and expertise that exist in the region.

The two sides appreciated the interest and support of His Highness the Emir of the region for projects to develop health services in the region, and to raise the level of efficiency and performance within the health transformation program and the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 to improve life and build an ambitious and prosperous nation that enjoys well-being through a comprehensive and sustainable development process.

His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Prince of Al-Qassim region, sent a letter of congratulations to His Excellency Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman Aldawood, the President of Qassim University, on the occasion of obtaining the full unconditional institutional academic accreditation from the Education and Training Evaluation Commission for the period from December 1, 2020 to November 30, 2027.

نظم كرسي الشيخ عبدالله بن صالح الراشد الحميد لخدمة السيرة والرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم بالجامعة، بالتعاون مع كلية اللغة العربية والدراسات الاجتماعية بالجامعة، ندوة علمية بعنوان «المواطنة في السيرة النبوية»، صباح اليوم الأربعاء الموافق 26/1/1441هـ، في مقر كلية التربية بالمدينة الجامعية للرجال، وكلية العلوم والآداب ببريدة للنساء، وذلك برعاية معالي الأستاذ الدكتور عبدالرحمن بن حمد الداود، وبحضور وكيل الجامعة للدراسات العليا والبحث العلمي الأستاذ الدكتور أحمد التركي.

حيث قدم "الداود" الشكر والتقدير للزملاء في كرسي عبدالله الراشد الحميد، ومنسوبي كلية اللغة العربية والدراسات الاجتماعية، على تنظيم هذه الندوة ضمن فعاليات الجامعة في الاحتفال باليوم الوطني الـ 89، كما قدم معاليه الشكر للأستاذة سهى بنت راشد الراشد على رسالتها في الماجستير "المواطنة في السيرة النبوية: دراسة تاريخية"، والتي تحدثت عن نفس موضوع الندوة وطبعت رسالتها ووزعت على نفقة الكرسي بمناسبة اليوم الوطني الـ 89.

وقال "الداود" خلال كلمته التي ألقاها بالندوة: نحن في أمس الحاجة لمثل هذه الدراسات، والجامعة يسعدها أن تتبنى دعم مثل هذه الدراسات، ولاشك أن المكتبة السعودية والعربية تحتاج لترجمة مثل هذه الدراسات بصورة كبيرة حتى نستطيع جميعا أن نثبت للعالم أن هذا الوطن هو وطن نموذجي بقيادته الرشيدة، ولُحمة الشعب مع القيادة، وبما وصل إليه خلال 89 عام، مقابل ما أنجز من تنمية عشناها ونعيشها الآن، مشيرًا إلى أن المملكة قد سبقت الكثير من الدول التي سبقتها في النشأة في العديد من الأمور، وهذا بفضل من الله تعالى، ثم بما حظيت به القيادة الرشيدة منذ تأسيسها على يد القائد المؤسس الملك عبدالعزيز بن عبدالرحمن آل سعود – طيب الله ثراه – والملوك من بعده، حتى عهدنا الزاهر عهد خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، عهد الحزم والعزم، سائلا الله عز وجل للجميع التوفيق والسداد، ولكل من قام على هذه الندوة والمشاركين بها.

من جهته، أوضح الدكتور عبدالرحمن الرميح المشرف على الكرسي، أن هذه الندوة تهدف لتأصيل عناية الشريعة بالمواطنة، وتسليط الضوء على الأحداث التي تدل على اهتمام النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم بالمواطنة الصالحة قولا وفعلا وتقريرا، حيث تنوعت محاور الندوة إلى: المحور الأول مفهوم المواطنة، وتحدث عنه الأستاذ الدكتور خالد الشريدة، والمحور الثاني هو واجبات المواطنة من خلال السيرة النبوية، وقدمها الأستاذ الدكتور عبد الله التركي، أما المحور الثالث فتناول حقوق المواطنة من خلال السيرة النبوية، للأستاذة سهى الراشد، والمحور الرابع ناقش أثر المواطنة على الحياة العامة من خلال السيرة النبوية، للأستاذ الدكتور عبدالله التركي، فيما تحدث المحور الأخير عن وسائل تحقيق المواطنة لدى شعب المملكة العربية السعودية من خلال تطبيقات السيرة النبوية، للأستاذ الدكتور خالد الشريدة.

دشن معالي الأستاذ الدكتور عبد الرحمن بن حمد الداود مدير الجامعة، اليوم الأربعاء الموافق 26/1/1441هـ، عملية تحديث بيانات منسوبي الجامعة في سجلات وزارة الخدمة المدنية، وذلك في إطار أكبر حملة تصحيحية تطلقها الوزارة لتحديث بيانات الموظفين في القطاع الحكومي، حيث تنفذ عمادة الموارد البشرية بالجامعة عملية تحديث البيانات بالتعاون مع فرع وزارة الخدمة المدنية.


وتم تدشين خدمة تحديث البيانات بحضور وكيل الجامعة الدكتور محمد السعوي، وعميد عمادة الموارد البشرية الدكتورعبد الله العايد، ومدير فرع وزارة الخدمة المدنية بالقصيم الأستاذ خالد العويس حيث تأتي هذه العملية ضمن اهتمامات وزارة الخدمة المدنية بالخدمات الإلكترونية المقدمة للجهات الحكومية والموظفين المدنيين والمواطنين، تحقيقًا لما جاء في رؤية المملكة 2030، وضمن ملف التحول الرقمي، وذلك لتقديم خدمات إلكترونية تكاملية وتفاعلية تخدم مجالات الخدمة المدنية.


من جانبه، أكد خالد بن محمد العويس مدير عام فرع وزارة الخدمة المدنية بمنطقة القصيم، أن هذه العملية تستهدف الموظفين الرسميين على مراتب سلم الموظفين، أو الكادر الصحي، أو سلم القضاة، والتعليم، وكذلك المستخدمين، وتهدف إلى تصحيح بيانات الموظفين لتمكنهم من الاستفادة مستقبلاً من الخدمات التي تقدمها الوزارة سواء في خدمات النقل أو الترقية، أو في الأداء الوظيفي.


وأشار "العويس" إلى أن جميع الخدمات المقدمة سوف تنصب في صالح خدمة الموظف، مبينًا أن الهدف الأساسي من تواجد مكتب بالجامعة هو الدعم على مدار الساعة والقيام بتصحيح بيانات منسوبي ومنسوبات الجامعة، والموظفين المسؤولين، وسوف يكون هناك منسق خدمات، كذلك سوف يكون هناك ضابط اتصال بين الجامعة ووزارة الخدمة المدنية، وذلك لعقد ورش عمل للموظفين عن كيفية عمل التحديث، وهو عبارة عن ثلاث صفحات عن طريق موقع الوزارة تتكون من صفحة للبيانات الشخصية، وصفحة للبيانات العلمية، والمعلومات الوظيفية الحالية التي يشغلها الموظف.
